Rowing for Clean Water
We showed the video in church and set a challenge to the congregation to get involved.  We hope to decide in a couple of weeks to partner with Tearfund to commit at least £500 a year to a water project in Africa.  But we have also hatched a plan to row the width of Scotland from Glasgow to Edinburgh along the Forth/Clyde Canal.  This will be to inspire other churches to get involved and setting a target of £100,000 for a water project and to also to raise a petition for our Prime Minister Gordon Brown.  You can see more about our project at our Get Your Oar In website.
