This Christmas season we challenged our people to get back to the basics of what Christmas is all about. We challenged the to “run” for consumerism and materialism and spend less on the stuff of this world on more on the stuff of the kingdom. We watched as several of our small groups lead a movement of people who spent Christmas Day at the Salvation Army feeding the homeless and passing out goodie bags that they had spent their Christmas budget on. They then went to Waffle House and had a time of celebration and community. As a church we asked our people to pick out gifts from the world vision catalog and gave that money instead of buying worthless things that none of us need. We raised approx. $6500 of which $2500 went to clean and safe drinking water. Praise be to God who through his birth (incarnation) is teaching us what His coming here was really all about and teaching us what it looks like to be His followers in this culture we find ourselves in.

Disabled Support Project Of Kenya(DISK) is a Community Based Organization which supports low-income communities to be self-realiance units capable in sustaining future development activities.At present we are cocentreating most of our efforts in the Slums of kibera near the capital city of Kenya-Nairobi.
DISK is a non-political, non- denominational and non-racial organzation which works generaly for and supports all human kinds.
Our objectives are as follows;
1. To support communities to access to clean water
2. To support child education sponsorship program
3. To support provision of affordable medical health-care
and give free Othopaedic appliances to the Disables.
4. To support provision of Disables and Orphans to
venture in lnformation Technology(IT) as away to markert them for national and international job market
5. To support the provision of Micro-finance enteprenurs
to adult Disables as away of job creation and poverty
eradication among them
With the above Objectives our Organiztion targets the follwing;
1.The Blind
2.Physically handicapped
3.Deaf
4.Celebralpalcy among disables as wellas
5.Orphans
We are reading your web on provision clean water with alot of intrest.
This is an area where our Organization is doing very well in the Slums of KIBERA although our capacity cannot serve more than one Million residence living in this slums.
According to what we are reading in the internet concerning your work, we have a Common agenda of CLEAN WATER provision and in this connection we are reques
sting for partnership with you.
Please, let us know for one reasone we will be greatfull to god if we can PARTNER with a Church this time.
